Turkey & Santa

We hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving! Chase and I enjoyed watching the Thanksgiving Day Parade- Daddy said we got Papa's parade watching genes. We saw lots of our favorite characters and we even saw Santa at the end. We had a yummy Thanksgiving meal at Grandma and Grandpa's and we had lots of fun playing with our cousin Anden. I think Chase's favorite part of the day was eating Grandma's whipped cream!

Mommy and daddy were home with us for 4 days! I kept asking if we had to go to school and they said 'No.' We had lots of fun baking, painting and playing. Chase and I even have a new favorite game- Hide and Seek. We tend to give up our location when we're the hiders, but it's still a lot of fun!

Chase and I have enjoyed seeing all the Christmas lights up around the neighborhood and mommy even finished putting ours up on Thursday. We went over to see our friend Hunter last night and he has a big Santa in a firetruck with a reindeer on top in his yard! We even have already been to the zoo to see the wildlights and Santa. We didn't get to see too many lights as the Santa line was really long, but we did get to make cookies and I even sat on Santa's lap! I told him all the things I wanted for Christmas and even passed along Chase's request of a hot dog, as Chase wasn't too sure about sitting on Santa's lap.

Tonight we get to get our elves and advent calendars out and mommy said we're going to get our tree this weekend after our Christmas concerts. Chase and I are super excited!

Have a nice week!

Turkey Day Lunch

On Monday we had Thanksgiving lunch at school. All of the mommies and daddies got to come and we sang songs for them and ate a yummy lunch. I had been practicing a lot at home and mommy and daddy said they were proud of me for actually standing up front and singing. I had a lot of fun and enjoyed eating lunch with mommy and daddy. While we were eating, mommy and daddy snuck in to peak on Chase in his room. He actually was sleeping and not causing trouble! Enjoy the videos!

3 Year Stats

I went to the doctor yesterday for my 3yr old well visit. The doctor said I had big muscles! I stepped on the scale like a big kid and weighed 35.8 pounds and am almost 39 inches tall! Mommy said no wonder all of my pants are too short- I've grown 4 1/2 inches over the last year. I was excited to get my flu shot (mist) in my nose.....I did ask for two band-aids, but I settled for a sticker. I enjoyed it and didn't want to leave to go to school :)

This weekend mommy and daddy took us to see Disney Live! Our friends Hunter and Will came too. We all had fun watching and dancing with Mickey Mouse. My favorite part of the show was Woody and Buzz Lightyear. Chase REALLY liked Tigger! We all had fun and was sad when it was over.

Have a good week everyone!

Super Heroes

Happy Halloween!

We went 'Trickin and Treating' last night and we had A LOT of fun! Chase figured out right away that we were getting candy and he was off and running! Our neighbor Hunter went with us and all of us were laughing and smiling. Towards the end we opted to ride in the wagon between houses and I had someone else carry my bucket because it was too heavy..... Grandma and Grandpa came to watch us and we all had pizza afterwards- what a great night!

Today we got to wear our costumes to school. Both Chase and I had Halloween parties in our class.

We hope everyone has a Safe and Happy Halloween!

I'm 3!

Can you believe I'm 3! I had a great birthday weekend! On Saturday I had my Diego party. Mommy and daddy ordered up my favorite meal- chicken nuggets.
After lunch I got to open my presents. Can you believe I got a book about Diego and Mason?
After presents we had cake and ice cream. I picked out a chocolate chip cake at the bakery and it was yummy.
Thanks to everyone who came to my party and helped me celebrate. It sure was fun! Diego even made an appearance- well, sort of. I loved all my presents, but I think daddy's favorite is the recorder! Thanks cousin Meggy!

On my actual birthday, Sunday, mommy and daddy took us to a big pumpkin patch. They had all kinds of fun things to do there. We saw some really big pumpkins, played on hay slides, saw some animals and I even led everybody through the sunflower maize. While we were in the maize, Chase and I found lots of caterpillars.
After we finished with all of those activities, we took a long hayride out to the pumpkin patch. I was looking for a really fat pumpkin. It was a long search, but I finally found the one I wanted. Chase found his pumpkin pretty quick and I think he got tired of waiting on me. After the hay ride back, we got to eat hot dogs and cookies. They even had some musical entertainment and Chase and I had fun dancing.

Later that night we carved our pumpkins into Jack-O-Lanterns. I helped mommy draw the face on my pumpkin and we decided to give him three teeth for my 3rd birthday. Since the sun was still up, we decided to eat dinner before lighting the pumpkins. After dinner we had ice cream and mommy, daddy & Chase sang 'Happy Birthday' to me. By that time, it was dark and we went outside to light our pumpkins. They looked really cool!

All in all it was a Great Birthday weekend! Thanks again! Enjoy the recorder solo!

Batman Mason!

I know it's been a long time, so I hope you have a few minutes to read (and see) what we've been up to over the last few months.

First of all, Grandma made us these awesome Batman and Robin capes. Riley even has one too!
I no longer like to be called Mason- it's 'Batman Mason.'

For Grandpa's birthday, we went to Young's Jersey Dairy. We had a lot of fun seeing the animals, playing in the kids tent, riding the tractor and of course eating ice cream!

Later that month, Uncle Jack left for the big city. Before leaving for NY, he came over for dinner. As always, Chase and I had fun playing with him, we sure do miss him!

Can you believe we got to go see Thomas?! Thanks to GG (she sent mommy the ad from the paper) we not only got to see Thomas, but we got to take a ride on Thomas! It was great, we got tattoos, watched a video, colored and even got our picture taken with Thomas. We also got to pick out a toy to take home and eat ice cream! I don't know what mommy and daddy were thinking when they let us get a train whistle. It's now and outside toy, but it's still a lot of fun.

On Labor Day, we went to the race track with Grandma and Grandpa. I got to go on another pony ride. My pony was named 'Shorty.' I had fun watching all of the horses race by. I even got to bet on the last race. Can you believe my yellow horse won? Well, he came in second and I overheard Grandma say something about money. My ears perked up and I dragged daddy to go get my money. Mommy couldn't believe I came back with a fist full of money. I won almost $19! I wasn't shy about telling everyone I won 'Big Monies!'

Mommy and daddy have been working a lot and mommy had knee surgery, so Chase and I are trying to hold the fort down. As you can see, we've been having a lot of fun!

Uncle Seth is home for a visit, so we had him up for dinner. We got to make cupcakes with icing and sprinkles! It was super fun!

After dinner and dessert we went upstairs and made my crib into a big boy bed. I really like my big boy bed and have been doing good staying in it so far. Chase likes it too, but mommy said there is NO way he would stay in a bed :)

GG Sent us some pumpkins that she grew in her garden. We got to paint them last weekend. Chase was all messy, and I think he even ate some paint!

After we were done painting out pumpkins, daddy made a fire outside and we ate dinner outside! We had fun eating our hot dogs around the fire. After dinner, we read our books outside before heading up to bed.

I went to have my 3yr pictures taken last week. Mommy keeps saying she can't believe I'm 3. I don't know what the big deal is- I'm ready to party!

Here are a few videos- enjoy!
