I'm 3!

Can you believe I'm 3! I had a great birthday weekend! On Saturday I had my Diego party. Mommy and daddy ordered up my favorite meal- chicken nuggets.

After lunch I got to open my presents. Can you believe I got a book about Diego and Mason?

After presents we had cake and ice cream. I picked out a chocolate chip cake at the bakery and it was yummy.

Thanks to everyone who came to my party and helped me celebrate. It sure was fun! Diego even made an appearance- well, sort of. I loved all my presents, but I think daddy's favorite is the recorder! Thanks cousin Meggy!

On my actual birthday, Sunday, mommy and daddy took us to a big pumpkin patch. They had all kinds of fun things to do there. We saw some really big pumpkins, played on hay slides, saw some animals and I even led everybody through the sunflower maize. While we were in the maize, Chase and I found lots of caterpillars.

After we finished with all of those activities, we took a long hayride out to the pumpkin patch. I was looking for a really fat pumpkin. It was a long search, but I finally found the one I wanted. Chase found his pumpkin pretty quick and I think he got tired of waiting on me. After the hay ride back, we got to eat hot dogs and cookies. They even had some musical entertainment and Chase and I had fun dancing.

Later that night we carved our pumpkins into Jack-O-Lanterns. I helped mommy draw the face on my pumpkin and we decided to give him three teeth for my 3rd birthday. Since the sun was still up, we decided to eat dinner before lighting the pumpkins. After dinner we had ice cream and mommy, daddy & Chase sang 'Happy Birthday' to me. By that time, it was dark and we went outside to light our pumpkins. They looked really cool!

All in all it was a Great Birthday weekend! Thanks again! Enjoy the recorder solo!
