Chunky Monkey & the Other Zoo Animals

I've been busy the past few days. First of all I came home from daycare on Wednesday with what mommy calls the gooky eye. She took me to the doctor Thursday morning and found out I had a double ear infection. I now have to drink medicine that mommy says smells like skittles. I don't know what those are, but I don't think it tastes like skittles- it doesn't taste very good. After we went to the doctor we met daddy for lunch. I tried to grab a handful of fries, but he said 'no fries for little boys.' Mommy stayed home with me the rest of the day and she stayed home again on Friday too. We went to the baby store and I got a few new toys and a new Elmo book! When we got home, I figured I would be nice and try to help mommy with the laundry.

On Saturday mommy and I met 'Aunt Cheryl' and Baby Mac at the zoo! We had fun. I got to see a lot of monkeys and some tigers, rhinos and bears (well, I slept through the bears). Mommy said we were now members so we can go anytime we want. Daddy said he wants to go see the sea cows. I didn't know there were cows at the zoo?

After we got home from the zoo, we took a little break and then loaded up to go see daddy at the Crew game. It was my first soccer game and I had fun. I really liked the flags blowing in the wind- I can now see why all the people come to the games. I was a little tired after a long day, so mommy and I left early to beat the rain. It's a good thing too, as soon as we got into the car it started pouring. I decided to let mommy know just how tired I was and screamed all the way home!

On Sunday, mommy and daddy were trying to get some yard work done, but I wanted all of their attention. I don't think they got too much done. Uncle Jack stopped by for a visit and brought me a Cincinnati Reds hat! Mommy really liked it but daddy kept trying to hide it. I already had my Bengals shirt on, so I was ready to roll!
'Aunt Cheryl' told mommy to put some stuff on my head to help my dry scalp. It made my hair really greasy, so I decided to try a spike look. Good thing I got a bath last night.

This weekend I'm heading up to Cleveland to watch my cousin Austin play soccer and to watch Grandma Bonk sing in a choir concert. I wonder if they need any background vocals....?

Have a good week.
