On Monday, March 3 Grandma, Grandma Bonk, Grandpa and Papa Chicken picked me up from daycare and took me to the hospital to see Mommy and Daddy. That wasn't the only person I saw though. Apparently, I have a new baby brother named, Chase. I wasn't so sure of him while we were at the hosiptal. Everyone seemed to jump at his every move - but I don't know what the big deal was.

Since Mommy, Daddy and Chase came home on Thursday night, I've been able to spend more time with him. And, in reality, having a baby brother is/was rather "cool" for a number of reasons: 1) I got a new Puppy Dog Bedroom (to make room for Chase - I've now come to figure out; 2) I got presents each day in the hospital; 3) I got to spend quality time with my grandparents; 4) I ate Chick-fil-A; 5) I learned Papa Chicken's "A-Cha-Cha"; and 6) now I'm a BIG brother.

Enjoy the pictures of my new brother!

New Orleans

This is little late, but better late than never. Right after Christmas, we got to go to New Orleans with the Ohio State football team. We had to get up really early to fly on the plane, but I handled it well by napping, eating pancakes and watching a video. I made friends with a lot of mommy's co-workers and even got to play with 'uncle' Bill. He showed me where to find goldfish crackers at the hotel and we hung out, eating a lot of fish.

Mommy and daddy took me to an aquarium where I got to see turtles, penguins and all sorts of fish. I had a blast in the kids area where I could run around and play. We walked around a lot and even got to take a boat across the river. I did a lot of sleeping in my stroller.
On our last day, mommy had to go to work and daddy took me to the football game. I had a blast giving out high fives and enjoying the atmosphere. Mommy got to come watch with us after she was done working. In the end the Buckeyes couldn't pull it out and I was worn out- sleeping for the last 10 minutes of the game. All in all it was a fun trip despite the outcome of the game.

Grandma Bonk, Papa Chicken, Grandma and Grandpa all came to visit last weekend. Everyone was helping with my new room. Mommy and daddy have been working on it for two weeks and Riley and I have been 'helping.' It's almost done. I can't wait to show everyone the finished product. I really like it b/c I have more space to run around and there are puppy dogs everywhere. Daddy said if I want to, I can start sleeping in that room next weekend. Hopefully I'll have finished pictures next week.

Have a good weekend everyone!

Chunk's Holiday Adventures

Happy Holidays everyone! We've had a busy holiday season. We got a Christmas tree and Riley and I helped decorate it. Somehow all the ornaments were rearranged to be just out of our reach.... We also put up Christmas lights and a big penguin in front of our house. I liked the penguin in the box, but am not so sure about it all blown up.
Last weekend Grandma, Grandpa, GG, Unlce Jack and Uncle Seth came over for Christmas. Mommy said I slept through most of Christmas last year. Not this year- I didn't even want to take a nap! I loved the paper and boxes and the toys too. Grandma and Grandpa got me a sled which daddy takes me for rides in around the house. Mommy said it might snow tonight and if it does, she'll take me for a real sled ride.

The next day was Christmas Eve. We didn't do too much. Mommy and daddy woke me up to go to church late at night and I thought it was fun to be wide awake! I ran all around church in my PJs. The next morning when I got up Santa had left me some presents. I was excited to see the big Elmo he brought me, but didn't want to go near it. For now I like to wave to him and dance to the Elmo song, but not get too close. I also got a zoo puzzle, a Buckeye hat and a new video. Mommy and daddy even bought a video player for the car, so when we packed up to go to Cleveland- I got to watch movies!

In Cleveland I got to see all my cousins and open more gifts. Daddy taught me how to play the piano at Great Grandma and Grandpas. And my cousin Austin even spent the night with us at Grandma Bonk's and Papa Chicken's. Papa Chicken has two Christmas trees and has a train going around one of them. I liked to watch the train go round and round.

The best thing about the holidays is that Daddy has been off since before Christmas and doesn't have to go back to work until after the New Year. Mommy was off for a few days, but had to go back to work for a few days. She said she is geting ready for our trip. I get to go on an airplane again! We are going to watch the Buckeyes play in New Orleans. I think mommy is a little nervous on how I'll do on the trip, but I'll try to be on my best behavior. We're going to go to an aquarium and do all kinds of fun things. Mommy has to work the game, but Daddy and I will cheer for her until she can meet us.

Have a safe and happy New Year!

Chunk and Friends

I've been pretty busy over the last month. I went to space, visited Santa and saw Elmo.

Mommy took me to the mall where we met Mackenzie and her mom. They had a big play area there with a space shuttle and all of the planets to play on it. I wasn't sure about it at first, but I eventually warmed up and was climbing all over the place. I especially liked the tunnels.

A few weeks ago, mommy and daddy took me to the zoo at night. They had all of their Christmas lights up. I liked the lights, but wasn't so sure about sitting on Santa's lap. I gave him a high five, but that was it for the jolly man in the red suit. While we were there, I also got to ride a horse. I really liked it until we started moving- then I wasn't sure what to do. It was snowing, so we didn't stay too long. I was worn out and slept all the way home and went straight to bed.

We had a big party for the Ohio State Michigan football game. Uncle Jack, Grandma, Grandpa, Papa Chicken and Grandma Bonk were all there. My friends Mya, Mackenzie and Devin all came too. We didn't watch much of the game, but we had fun playing and making noise. Mommy and daddy said it was funny how much their party had changed from the last Michigan game. They must not of had too much fun at the last one.

I hope everyone had a good Turkey day! We went to Aunt Bessie's and had a good feast. There were three puppy dogs there, that I had a blast playing with. Cousin Andy also introduced me to one of the greatest things ever- whipped cream. I especially like whipped cream on cookies!

After Turkey Day, I got to stay home with mommy and daddy for a few days. We had fun playing all day at home. One of mommy's friends from work bought me a new toy- a popper. I like to run it around the island in the kitchen, making as much noise as possible.

On Sunday we went to mommy's work, but she didn't have to work- we went to see Elmo! Mya and Mackenzie were there too. I liked the lights and music and made it through the whole show. I didn't have a nap, so I was a little tired afterwards, but it was a good time.

Mommy said we get to put all of our Christmas stuff up this weekend and get a Christmas tree. I'm not really sure what that is, but it sounds like fun. Even daddy thinks so......

Chunky Halloween

Happy Halloween Everyone! Mommy and Daddy said this was technically my second Halloween, but I don't remember the first, so to me it was my first Halloween. I dressed up as a Chicken and got in my wagon to go around the neighborhood. I was supposed to go Trick-or-Treating with Mackenzie, but I got sick early in the week, so we decided to just stay home. I didn't really care about getting any candy, I just wanted to ride around in my wagon. I liked watching all the kids come up to visit in their different costumes. Before I got sick, Daddy took us to go get pumpkins and I got to see my cousins all dressed up. I wish I would have gotten to play with them more. I hope everyone got more treats than tricks!

Chunk's 1st Birthday- Part II

The rest of my birthday was just as good as the morning. I got a card from my teachers at daycare and my name was up on the birthday board. Mommy picked me up early and we went over to Mackenzie's house to eat dinner. After we were done we headed out to Spooktacular. We got to wear our Halloween costumes and I got to meet a Fire Dog. I enjoyed seeing all the kids in their costumes and looking at the inflatables. I took a nap on the way home and when I woke up, Daddy had a special cupcake surprise waiting for me. I wasn't quite sure what to do at first, but I figured it out pretty quickly. I really liked it- I didn't even share any with Riley. When I was finished mommy and daddy let me stay up a little later than normal and I played with my new blocks. All in all it was a Great day!

Chunk's 1st Birthday

Today is my Birthday! So far it's been a great day. I got to sleep in a little, then daddy sang to me. I was on tv. I get to wear my special shirt. And I got to open my present- all before 8am!

I really liked my new blocks- so did Riley...... Mommy said she's going to pick me up early from daycare and we're going to meet Baby Mac and go to Spooktacular. It's raining right now, but hopefully it will clear up. Daddy said I get a special cupcake tonight and that we're having a big party on Sunday. These birthdays are pretty neat, I wish they happened more often. I'll update with other pictures later. Have a good day!
