What a fun few two weeks! Can you believe Santa actually came to visit us? I was very very excited. We had 4 different Christmas parties and I was beginning to think we got presents everyday! Mommy was off for the last two weeks and daddy was off between Christmas and New Years. We had a lot of fun being at home, especially when mommy went to California- daddy spoiled us!
We've been having fun in the snow and even made our first snowman and had a snowball fight. When we come in from the cold, mommy has introduced us to something new and great- Hot Chocolate!
We had our first Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa's with Uncle Jack and GG. I got my own remote control car and Chase got his favorite Christmas present- a singing broom! Grandpa also made us these cool 'cartoon' chairs. Aunt Sharon got us these cool Thomas Pj's. Chase and I liked them so much, we put them on right away!
The following day was Christmas Eve. That night we went to church and then came home and put out our reindeer food, so Santa and the reindeer would find our house. We also put out cookies and milk for Santa and some carrots for the reindeer. Mommy and daddy then let us open one present and we opened these cool night lights from Ms. Theresa!
The next morning we went downstairs and Santa had been there! Santa must of thought we were really good or really liked the cookies! We got lots of cool stuff including Batman's bat cave, a Mickey Mouse train, snow boots and lots more. After playing with our toys and taking naps we headed to Cleveland to see Grandma, Papa, Uncle Ryan, Aunt Liza, Austin & Paige. We had fun opening gifts with our cousins and playing with our new toys. can you believe I got my own mouse? Santa must have relayed my last minute request to Uncle Ryan. Chase got a Thomas to ride on and a vacuum cleaner and I got my own basketball pop-a-shot.
The following day we made pancakes with Papa and then went to Great Grandma and Grandpa's for another Christmas party. Chase and I had fun playing in a box and playing with all of our relatives.
On Sunday we had yet another Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Seth. Grandma and Grandpa also brought more presents from other relatives we missed on Christmas day. Mommy and daddy said our house looked like a toy store!
On Monday I went to work with mommy for a little bit as she got ready to leave for the Rose Bowl. Chase and I were in charge of keeping daddy in line Monday night through Saturday morning. Daddy had lots of fun things in store for us and we played in the snow, painted, had a play date, got milkshakes and even ate donuts and whipped cream for breakfast one day. On New Year's Eve we went up to Uncle Ryan's house to celebrate and spent the night at Grandma and Papa's. We left in time the next day to get home and watch the Buckeyes. Mommy sent us a picture of the Rose Bowl and it looked really cool. Can you believe the Buckeyes actually won! Way to go Buckeyes!
When we woke up on Saturday mommy was home! She even brought us some souvenirs back. Chase and I both love our Rose Bowl footballs and I even got this cool hat.
Back to work and school this week, so I guess the celebrating is over. I keep asking if Santa is coming back in few days, but I hear he only comes once a year.............
Thanks to everyone for a Wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year!
