The Big Day!

Tomorrow is the big day! We get to find out if we're having a baby brother or sister. Do we look like we're ready to be big brothers?!!

We've been talking to the baby a lot and giving mommy's belly lots of kisses. We can't wait to actually hold the baby tomorrow!

Uncle Jack is in town for the baby and he came up to spend the day with us on Sunday. First we played Mario Kart. We were a pretty even match, but I think he won more races in the end. After Chase woke up from his nap, we had a picnic outside. It was fun, but it was REALLY hot out, so when we were done eating we went inside. After lunch Uncle Jack gave us some cars he brought for us, so of course we had to race them!

After racing we played the fishing game. Chase and I each won a game. I guess Uncle Jack isn't a good fisherman..... Following fishing we colored. We drew and drew and had fun being silly. Finally we watched Scooby Doo and Batman. We must have worn Uncle Jack out, because I think he took a little nap during the movie. After the movie we had fun playing Super Heroes!

After Uncle Jack left we ate dinner outside and had a 'camp out.' Well at least we had a fire and made Smores! We had so much fun roasting marshmallows and eating lots of sugar!

Tap & Tumble Show

Saturday was out big Tap & Tumble show! Grandma & Papa and Grandma and Grandpa all came to watch us.



Chase was up first. He did a dance and then showed off his tumbling skills. He got a cool pair of sunglasses.

Since I am in Tap & Tumble Sports, when it was my turn we did a soldier routine and then showed off our soccer and T-ball skills. We got to keep our cool army hats and we each got a bat and ball set.

After our show we all went home for lunch. While we were napping mommy went and bought flowers and we all helped get them planted. Since it was hot and we all worked hard we went for ice cream after!

On Sunday we 'helped' mommy make brownies.

After our naps daddy pulled out the sprinkler and we have a lot of fun playing in the water!

Super Fun Weekend!

There are only two more weeks until the baby comes so mommy and daddy set up a super fun weekend for us. On Friday we chose to go putt-putting. I even got to invite my friend Hogan from school. We had a lot of fun and can you believe Hogan and I both tied for the win.....



After putt-putting we watched the older kids drive Go Karts. I can't wait until I'm tall enough to drive those cars! When we were done we went to McDonald's for dinner and then to Baskin Robins for ice cream!



On Saturday we were invited to a birthday party at World of Bounce for one of our friends from school. They had the biggest slide we've ever seen and an inflatable where we could play basketball inside. It was a lot of fun! We even got pizza and cupcakes afterwards.



After church on Sunday, mommy had a special painting project for us- we got to paint her big belly! We had a lot of fun and look at what a good job we did!

Spring or Summer?

It's been really hot here this week! We went from cold and rainy to almost 90 degrees. We may have skipped over spring, but we don't care- we can finally go outside and play!

We've been riding our bikes and Chase even learned how to pedal!

Chase has also been practicing writing his name. I've been practicing our last name and playing hopscotch.

We think the ducks followed us home after feeding them a few weeks ago....

They were in our front yard the other night and daddy let us feed them bread.

The next day they were in our backyard and even stayed while we were out playing and spraying silly string. New Pets......?

We made mommy breakfast in bed and made her lots of presents!



At school Chase made mommy a tea pot with his picture and we even got to make tea. I made mommy a necklace at school that said mom with lots of hearts.




At church we made even more things for mommy- a heart card and a cooking spoon with chocolates! After our naps we all went out for ice cream- Yum!!
