Happy Birthday Daddy!

Daddy's birthday was this week. We couldn't keep our presents secrets any longer, so we HAD to give them to daddy on his birthday morning. I bought daddy some sausage links. It is our favorite food to eat together. Daddy even let us eat it for his birthday dinner! Chase bought daddy a new cup. He thought he needed a new one to drink out of at work. We sang to daddy at dinner and had his favorite dessert- Cherry pie and whipped cream.

Friday night daddy had to work the Buckeye hockey game, so mommy took us to watch. We had a blast! We were dancing, singing and doing O-H-I-O. Can you believe Brutus even said 'hi' to us and waved at us? The game went to overtime and a shoot out!

On Saturday Grandma and Papa and Grandma and Grandpa came over for Daddy's birthday dinner. We helped make him some cupcakes and had fun singing happy birthday to him again.

He even got some cool presents, not that we let him open any. He got a cool football helmet and a Buckeye bike jersey. It was definitely a fun week and weekend!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

We wore our special 'heart' shirts to school for our Valentine's parties.

Chase is getting excited for his birthday in a few weeks. He is having a Backyardigans party and if you can't tell his favorite Backyardigan character is Pablo!

Can you believe Chase got to wear his PJs and slippers to school on Friday? They were learning about the letter 'P' last week, so his class had a PJ party with popcorn.

We're still having fun with swim lessons. Can you believe I can even float on my back now? Next Saturday is our last class for this session, but mommy signed us up for the next session so we can keep going. Chase graduated from the 'Shrimp' class and will now be in 'Pike' with me.

It's hard to believe that 35 degrees would seem like a heat wave, but after it was 1 degree last week, it sure did feel warm on Sunday. Chase and I went out to play and run some energy off. It is supposed to get above 40 this week, we may have to break out the shorts :)

After playing outside we made Valentine cut-out cookies. We would have had more cookies, but we ate a lot of dough when we thought mommy wasn't looking.

The cookies that did make it to the oven we iced and even added sprinkles!

They sure were yummy to eat!

Can you believe we got all these goodies for Valentine's Day? Daddy even brought us home these cool Buckeye wigs.

Enjoy some swimming videos....
