Last Tuesday Grandpa and Uncle Seth came to watch my soccer lessons. I was a little shy because I had a new coach, but in the end I played and even scored a goal. My last soccer lesson was supposed to be last night, but it got cancelled because of the rain. The good news is it is re-scheduled for next week and we are having a trophy ceremony!
After soccer Grandpa and Uncle Seth came back to our house for pizza. After dinner Uncle Seth gave us our birthday presents. Chase got a Woody and Buzz book and I got a USA soccer uniform! Isn't this just the coolest thing you've ever seen. I cried when mommy made me take it off that night so she could wash it. I think I've worn it ever other day since I got it!
Last week Uncle Brian came to stay with us for a few days. Chase and I LOVED having him around. We were pretty wild because he's so much fun to play with. We keep asking when he's coming home, but I think maybe he had too much of us :)
Friday we went to Grandma and Grandpa's for another cookout. Uncle Jack was home form NY, so we went to party with him. We learned how to wheelbarrow race and we helped Grandpa make homemade ice cream again. After all of the guests left we got to stay for a sleep over!
We had fun at GG's the next day. I think Grandpa was training us for his raspberry crop next year.
While we were having fun with Grandma and Grandpa, daddy was running a 1/2 marathon! He wanted to finish in under two hours and he finished in 1 hour 58 minutes! Way to go dad!!! To us that means you won the race!
On Sunday we went hunting for treasure. Uncle Ryan and Aunt Liza told daddy about 'Letterboxing' so daddy looked up some treasure clues and off we went. It was fun hiking in the woods and crossing the creek. I think Chase had just as much fun stamping his hands!
Chase is becoming very vocal and likes to sing A LOT. Here are his two biggest numbers:
