Visitors

Last Tuesday Grandpa and Uncle Seth came to watch my soccer lessons. I was a little shy because I had a new coach, but in the end I played and even scored a goal. My last soccer lesson was supposed to be last night, but it got cancelled because of the rain. The good news is it is re-scheduled for next week and we are having a trophy ceremony!

After soccer Grandpa and Uncle Seth came back to our house for pizza. After dinner Uncle Seth gave us our birthday presents. Chase got a Woody and Buzz book and I got a USA soccer uniform! Isn't this just the coolest thing you've ever seen. I cried when mommy made me take it off that night so she could wash it. I think I've worn it ever other day since I got it!

Last week Uncle Brian came to stay with us for a few days. Chase and I LOVED having him around. We were pretty wild because he's so much fun to play with. We keep asking when he's coming home, but I think maybe he had too much of us :)

Friday we went to Grandma and Grandpa's for another cookout. Uncle Jack was home form NY, so we went to party with him. We learned how to wheelbarrow race and we helped Grandpa make homemade ice cream again. After all of the guests left we got to stay for a sleep over!

We had fun at GG's the next day. I think Grandpa was training us for his raspberry crop next year.

While we were having fun with Grandma and Grandpa, daddy was running a 1/2 marathon! He wanted to finish in under two hours and he finished in 1 hour 58 minutes! Way to go dad!!! To us that means you won the race!

On Sunday we went hunting for treasure. Uncle Ryan and Aunt Liza told daddy about 'Letterboxing' so daddy looked up some treasure clues and off we went. It was fun hiking in the woods and crossing the creek. I think Chase had just as much fun stamping his hands!

Chase is becoming very vocal and likes to sing A LOT. Here are his two biggest numbers:

4th of July

We had a great 4th of July weekend!

On Saturday morning we went to a parade. Chase had a Great time! I had to be convinced it was fun, but once I started watching (and getting candy), I enjoyed it. We saw bands, dogs, tractors, Clifford and much, much more. After the parade daddy took us to lunch. We went to a deli and they gave everyone free ice cream!

After lunch we went home to take naps and when we woke up, we went to see some of the local festivities. We went to a frisbee dog show. It was great. We had a blast cheering and clapping for all of the dogs.

After watching the dogs we went to check out some of the other booths. Chase and I both got our faces painted and we also got tattoos.

On Sunday we went to Grandma and Grandpas for a big cook out. I kept reminding everyone it was Americas birthday. Uncle Seth was home from California and I had fun playing football with him. Daddy even taught me a spin move I was using to trick him.

Most of Grandma's family came to the party and there were lots of people and kids to play with. We even had GG's birthday party! She's turning 85 and Chase and I both made her special cards.

After dinner Chase and I were Grandpa's assistants in making homemade ice cream. We helped put the ice in and then took breaks from playing every so often to ask him if it was ready. We also volunteered to be the first tasters. It was very Yummy!!!

Once it started to get dark, Grandma has a surprise for us- sparklers!!! Grandma and Grandpa's neighbors also put on a pretty big fireworks show.

On Monday, daddy had a big surprise for us- Putt Putting! Can you believe I got it in the hole every time? In the end we all tied, so we all got icees afterwards to cool down.

Yesterday Grandpa and Uncle Seth came to watch my soccer lessons. I was a little shy at first, but I warmed up and even scored another goal. When we got home Uncle Seth gave me an early birthday present- a USA soccer uniform!!!! I love it! I cried when I had to take it off for bed so mommy could wash it. Of course I put it on as soon as I got up!

Have a good week!

Birthday Surpirse

Last night was Grandma's birthday and we went to her house to surprise her. She thought we were the pizza guy, but it was us shouting 'Surprise, Happy Birthday!'

We had fun eating outside, swinging and riding the lawn mower. We gave Grandma the sun catchers we made for her and then she opened Chase's favorite present the vacuum! I hope it still works after he was sweeping the deck.

We put candles in the cake, sang happy birthday and then licked the candles- yum!

Happy Birthday Grandma!

Soccer Lessons

I had soccer lessons again on Tuesday. We had picture day and after pictures I did everything by myself and mommy, daddy and Chase cheered me on from the sidelines.

I scored some goals and even volunteered to play goalie. What do you think of my goalie stance? I stopped the ball, so I guess that is all that counts!

Mommy took some videos of me in action. Enjoy!

Fishing

Last weekend Papa took us fishing! Chase and I got our own fishing poles and everything.
I think Chase just liked playing in the water, but I had fun fishing and was sad when we had to leave.

I didn't catch any fish, but I was the only one that caught something. Check out my big catch:

After fishing we ate lunch and had ice cream while watching the boats.

Hopefully I can go fishing again soon......
