GOALLLL!!!

Can you believe I scored a goal last night at my soccer lessons? I've come a long way- last week I wouldn't even get on the field.

Grandma and Grandpa must have been my good luck charms. Mommy and daddy both said they were proud of me for participating this week. Not only did I play, have fun and score, but we got to go for ice cream afterwards!!!

I hope the USA team can score in the World Cup like I did. GO USA!!!!

Last Day- Day 7

Today was our last day here at Folly Beach, SC. We took advantage of another beautiful day. Minus naps, we were in the water form 9am until 6:30pm. Mommy said we were turning into fish. We jumped a lot of 'big' waves and were even brave enough to do it by ourselves.

We sure have had fun on vacation! Back on the road tomorrow morning.......

Aquarium- Day 6

We headed out to Charleston today to visit the aquarium. We saw lots of fish, sharks, snakes and penguins. We even touched a turtle, starfish and stingray. We had a good time and we all got crowns. Chase and I even talked daddy into buying us something from the gift shop.

After we went to the aquarium, mommy, daddy, Chase and I went into Charleston to take a horse and carriage ride, We walked through the market a little bit and then boarded our carriage for our ride with Buck-A-Roo. We didn't get a chance to take a picture of 'Buck' because Chase and I both fell asleep on the tour.

After dinner we saw the first rain of our trip. Thankfully it only rained for about 10 minutes and then we headed out for ice cream. Can you believe we saw a rainbow over the ocean?

Day 5 - Charleston

After another day of the beach and pool we headed to Charleston for dinner tonight. Aunt Cheryl picked a really cool place on the water, where we got to sit outside and watch sail boats go by. After dinner we walked to the pier and park down the street.

The park had some fun fountains we played in (and got wet) and the pier had swings we sat on. Afterwards we drove through town looking at the big houses.

Tomorrow we are going back to Charleston to see the aquarium!

Day 4 - Dolphin Sighting

Today on the beach we dug a really big hole! It was so big, Chase and I could stand in it. We also took a long walk on the beach looking for treasure. In the end we only found a few shells, but it was fun exploring.

While we were playing in the sand a baby dolphin and his mommy came to visit. They were swimming really close to the shore! If you look closely in this picture- the black speck of dirt is the baby's fin. They were close, but hard to catch on camera!

We walked around the town of Folly tonight and ate pizza. We visited a few stores and got a yummy ice cream and icee treat!

Monday - Day 3

Poor little Beckham has an ear infection and hasn't been feeling well. While Aunt Cheryl took him to the doctor Uncle Brian Mackenzie, mommy, daddy, Chase and I went to check out the pier. It was pretty cool seeing the water from way up high. As we were walking back a fisherman caught a baby shark and let us touch it! I even petted it before he threw it back in the water.

Before we left we checked out the gift shop. Can you believe we suckered daddy into buying these dolphins? They may look innocent, but they squeak!!! I think the adults all agreed they would be 'lost' for the car ride home.

Once we got back to the beach we made a 'Dolphin House' for our dolphins. Daddy and Uncle Brian helped us make a big sand castle. It even had a moat that we filled with water. Once it was complete we had a lot of fun stomping down their work.

After our naps we hit the pool again. Can you believe I was swimming by myself? It was a little scary, but I did it. Mommy even has it on video, which we'll up load once we are back.

Sunday at the Beach- Day 2

Day Two at the beach we did a lot of swimming in the ocean. We were having a little trouble with salt water getting in our eyes, so we we put on our goggles. Don't we look cute.....?
Uncle Brian and Aunt Cheryl bought these really cool kites. Mackenzie was flying Tinkerbell and we were flying the Dragon. We had fun watching them soar through the air and we even helped fly them.
After our naps we found the pool! We had a blast jumping in and making BIG splashes!

(We're having trouble loading our videos, so we'll have to load them once we are back home!)
