Tumble Show

Saturday was the day of our big tumble show! Grandma and Papa came down and Grandma and Grandpa came too. I was a little nervous at the beginning, but Chase and I both did great. We had lots of fun too. Mommy's camera wasn't taking too many good pictures, but she did take lots of video!

Chase was first. Here are the cool tricks he did:

I was next. Can you believe how high I can jump?

On Sunday it was finally sunny and mommy got our pool out. Chase and I had lots of fun swimming and splashing!

Have a great week!

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day!

Daddy and I made mommy breakfast and once we got ready for church Chase and I gave mommy all of her presents. I was excited for her to open mine b/c I knew it had candy inside!

Chase and I also had fun making gifts for the grandmas and for GG.

After church we took naps and then went to Grandma and Grandpa's for Mother's Day dinner. Chase and I have a new rewards system in place where we earn stickers for doing good things. I earned enough stickers for a surprise, which daddy gave me at grandma and grandpa's- it was roller skates! I've been asking and asking for roller skates, so I was very excited. Good thing Grandpa was there to hold me up because it was tricky. I had fun trying though!

We also got to swing, climb in the tree house and even go for lawn mower rides. So much fun stuff to do, so little time :)

Can you believe Grandma and Grandpa have this bird's nest in their tree. I was very fascinated by it, but there were no bird eggs in there.

I'm really into playing basketball and Michael Jordan right now. I want to listen to Space Jam every night before going to bed and daddy even found me a Michael Jordan shirt. Look what Grandma had in her basement- now I have Michael Jordan in my room!

Enjoy the videos!!

The Polar Bears

We went tot he zoo on Saturday to see the new Polar Bears! It was really neat and we even got to go under ground and watch them swim above us. It was cold on Saturday, but that was ok. Chase and I didn't mind and the zoo was crow free. Plus all of the animals were out moving around.

After seeing the polar bears and arctic fox we played in the new polar playground. Chase and I had fun going down the slides and swing on the rope swing. Before we left we saw the brown bears playing with each other.

Chase and I pretended to be funny animals. I was a prairie dog and Chase was a wolf.

Daddy let us take a train ride to ride by the bears and wolf. Chase was very excited to ride the train!

We finally saw the baby elephant. He was out with his mommy walking around. We also saw the indoor elephants. They were eating peanuts with their trunks.

The tigers were sleeping as usual, but we did see the lions. The mommy lion by herself kept roaring at us. Then we went to the other side and saw the new baby lion cubs. The daddy lion was wrestling with them until the mommy lion roared at them.

When we got to the gorillas, they were trying to get them to come outside. Mack finally came out, but he was happy. he was running around and smacking the glass right in front of us!

Because we were good we got to ride the carousel- twice. Chase LOVED it and didn't want to leave. I had fun too.

It was a great trip to the zoo!

Family Additions

In the spirit of Spring growth, we've been expanding our family. No, no new kids, but lots of exciting experiences for us Olsavsky boys.

A few weeks ago we planted the watermelon and tomatoes the Easter Bunny left us. Unfortunately, a big storm blew over all the pots and the dirt and seeds were scattered everywhere. Thankfully the flowers we planted were in a big sturdy pot and they are starting to sprout and grow.
Last weekend Grandma and Papa came for a visit. Mommy bought us these dinosaur eggs that we put in water and watched hatch. It took a few days, but we now have two new dinosaur members of our family!

While Papa and Grandma were here daddy taught papa and I how to play baseball on the wii. I had a lot of fun. I love playing baseball!

Since it rained all weekend, mommy and daddy took us out for a surprise to do something fun with Grandma and Papa. The surprise was Build-a-Bear! Chase picked out a dragon and I picked out a monkey.
We had lots of fun picking out their hearts, putting the stuffing in and giving them baths. We even got to name them- Drago and Brutus are the two newest members of our family. Can you believe they even make real dragon and monkey sounds?

Once we finished our creations we made a quick stop at the mall playground. It was really crowded, so we didn't stay long, but it sure was fun!

Hopefully this weekend we'll get to check out the new Polar Bears at the zoo. Check back soon for pictures.

March for Babies

A few weekends ago we took a really long walk! It was the 2010 March of Dimes March for Babies.

Mommy, daddy, grandma, grandpa, Aunt Sarah, Uncle Kyle, Will and a lot more family and friends joined the walk on Will's Team. When Will was a little baby he was really sick, just like mommy was when she was little. We all came together so hopefully other kids don't have to be sick. I know I don't like being sick. Chase and I got to ride in our strollers for most of the walk, but I did walk the beginning with my new girlfriend......Lauren. Lauren works with my mommy and even brought her dog Winston to the walk. To say I was smitten is an understatement. I even came out of my shy shell and held her hand!

After the race they had lots of goodies for us and I even got my picture taken as a NICU graduate. We then went to Aunt Sarah's house for lunch. Chase and I had fun playing with Will and his cousins and Chase REALLY liked their cats! I'm sure the cats were glad when we left and they didn't have to worry about Chase following them everywhere.

Thank you to all our friends and family who donated to the March of Dimes! I know it really meant a lot to my mommy and Aunt Sarah.
