Remodeling

I overheard mommy and daddy talking about possibly re-doing my room and I thought it was a good idea. I liked the idea so much that I decided to help them out and jump start the process after one of my naps. Can you believe wallpaper peels that easily? I was very proud of my work, but I don't think mommy and daddy thought it was too cute.

I charmed them into not being too mad at me by showing off my new skill of saying my last name. They also thought I was too cute trying on my goggles to get ready for the beach.

Enjoy!

Spring Fun

We've been enjoying the nice spring weather we've been having lately. Chase and I love to play outside. We even got to eat outside on Saturday and Sunday. Mommy, daddy and Chase like to eat outside, but I'm not too fond of the bugs!

On Saturday we went to Lowe's for another building clinic. This time we got to make a baseball game. It turns out baseball is my new favorite sport. Mommy and daddy played catch with me all weekend. I even made 6 catches in a row. When I get tired of catching with my glove I take batting practice. All I have to say is 'watch out!'

Easter

I know this is late, but Happy Easter! We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!

Can you believe the Easter Bunny delivered candy to the zoo, came to our house, hid eggs at church and also went to Grandma and Papa's? I think he must have worked up an appetite b/c Chase had an empty candy wrapper in his basket.

On Friday we went to the zoo for Eggs, Paws and Claws. Our neighbor Hunter and his mom came too. We had fun watching the gorillas and we even saw Pablo from the Backyardigans. The Easter Bunny left candy all through the zoo, but Chase's favorite part was watching and listening to the wolf howl.

When we woke up on Saturday, the Easter Bunny had been there! He left us some candy, beach towels, flashlights and walkie talkies! It's a good thing we got flashlights- they really helped us in our search for eggs around the house.

Once we were done we got dressed and went to church for an egg hunt. We even got to see a real live bunny! Chase got lots of bracelets in his eggs and enjoyed wearing them all.
Later that day we headed up to Grandma and Papa's. It was Papa's birthday and we had fun celebrating with him. We went to church the next morning, but we didn't see much of it. Chase and I weren't on our best behavior.......

After church, Uncle Ryan, Aunt Liza, Austin and Paige came over to Grandma and Papa's. it was uncle Ryan's birthday, so after Easter dinner we all sang and blew out candles.

I had fun playing with Chase and my cousins. Can you believe Grandma and Papa have a roller coaster in their backyard?
Chase has been sick over the last few weeks. He has picked up croup and most recently hand, foot and mouth disease from daycare. Poor little guy was pretty sick a few days ago. Hopefully he is on the mend!
