Tumbling Show

I had a big weekend- it was time for my tumbling show! Daddy dropped me off in the preparation room with all my friends. I did well until we started to walk in with all of the people. Ms. Beth ended up carrying me down the aisle. I stood on stage for a brief minute before the stage freight kicked in and I started to get upset. Thankfully one of my teachers saw me and picked me up. She helped me through my 'sunshine' routine and let me sit on her lap while the rest of my classmates started their forward rolls. When it was my turn she walked me up to the mat. I was hesitant at first but then I did my forward roll. After everyone was completed with their rolls, it was time for the balance beam. I walked across, squatted to touch the blue spot like we practiced and completed walking and dismounted. I stood by all of the other kids as they took their bow and then we got to run to our mommies and daddies. Mommy said she was so proud of me she almost started crying. Grandma and Grandpa came to watch me perform and afterwards we went to get ice cream! It was good!

When we got home, Chase and I had fun playing outside. Grandpa and I made lots of chalk drawings, I rode my bike and we played in the sand.

On Sunday mommy and I went to participate in the March of Dimes walk with Sarah and Will. I had fun chillin' in my stroller playing and eating while mommy pushed me along. After we crossed the finish line, Will and I got out and played for a little bit and mommy and Aunt Sarah bought us matching shirts. Next year mommy said we're going to have 'Team Will' shirts.

After we got home Grandma and Papa came! They brought us milkshakes and goodies that the Easter Bunny left at their house. Can you believe I got a big popcorn bunny? Since it was so nice out, we went outside to play. I enjoyed playing baseball and playing in the water. Papa even came to the rescue with an air pump so we could play in the ball pit.

I have a big next week- I'm switching daycare rooms. I'm moving up to the potty training room. Some of my friends have already moved up and mommy and daddy have been showing me the new room, but I'm not sure sure. I'm not too big on change and I love Ms. Krista who is my teacher now. I'll let you know next week how it is going.......

Cake, Zoo, Sandbox, Eggs, Candy & Flowers

The responsibilities of being a two and a half year old have been weighing me down and I haven't been blogging lately. Hopefully this will get everyone up to speed on what Chase and I have been up to over the last two months. As you'll see we've been pretty busy and have been enjoying the nice weather whenever it's around. Enjoy!

We had a big birthday party for Chase at Daddy's work. I had fun playing with all of the other kids there. Chase had fun eating his cake and opening presents. We both loved the Thomas tent!

When the weather is nice we've been having fun outside. Chase and I like taking wagon rides and at times I like pulling the wagon. Chase thinks this is really funny.

We had two birthday parties to go to in March. It was fun visiting with all of our relatives and playing with the kids. I think Chase learned his lesson about playing with girls......
Mommy got a cool present for her birthday- an I-Pod. I love listening to music!

For Easter mommy and I made an egg tree. I had fun wearing the eggs around and then hanging them on the tree. I looked for them every night on my way home from school.

I also got to color some real eggs with Uncle Jack and Grandma and Grandpa. I had fun dipping the eggs in all the colors and putting stickers on them. Grandma and Grandpa also brought my Christmas present- a sandbox! Chase and I love playing in the sand with all of our sand toys. Mommy says at the rate we dump and eat sand there won't be any left by summer....

After coloring eggs, we all went to the Crew soccer game. I had fun watching the game and eating hot dogs and popcorn. I even got one of the mini soccer balls they throw into the stands. Chase had fun too, but he wanted to walk around instead of sitting still.

A few weekends ago we went to the zoo. Aunt Sarah, Uncle Kyle and Will met us there. We had fun watching the animals that were out. We even had a duck friend that wanted our snacks. My favorite part of the trip was when the daddy lion roared really loud. Before we left, we all rode the train- it was a lot of fun.

We had an Easter party at school where I was introduced to CANDY! The Easter Bunny came to our house and left us baskets full of goodies and eggs hidden around the house full of CANDY. I think jelly beans are my favorite. We went to Grandma and Grandpa's and GG's on Easter too. Can you believe the Easter Bunny left goodies there for us too? I had fun at GG's egg hunt. Chase had fun too, but it was tough on him to walk everywhere, so he let the Easter Bunny know he would appreciate not having to walk so much next year:)

GG gave me a really cool present for Easter- It was sunflower seeds. I planted them in the soil, watered them and placed them on the window sill to get some sun. They grew really big, so last night mommy and me planted them in the back yard. I can't wait to see how big they are tonight with all the sunshine today.

I hope everyone is enjoying the nice weather!
