Fa La La

We had a very busy few days last weekend. It has taken us a few days to recover, but we're finally posting!

Saturday started off with our Christmas concert at school. Chase went first. He didn't do much singing, but he did clap for himself after each song. We had a little time after Chase's show before mine, so Daddy, Grandpa, Chase and I all went to Home Depot to see the kids craft for December. We picked up our wagon kits and headed back to school to get ready for my show.

Some of you may remember me crying at the steps at last year and refusing to go on stage....not only did I go on stage this year, but I sang every word! I had a lot of fun and we even had cookies and punch after the show was over. Since Grandma and Grandpa had a wedding to go to and daddy had to go to work, mommy took us to McDonald's for lunch and we even got a milkshake for such a good performance!

After our naps, daddy was home and he helped us put our wagons together. I had fun hammering the wheels and putting the stickers on. Chase and I gave a lot of our animals and Little People rides around the living room.

After dinner that night we had a special visitor- Will! Will came over to play with us while Aunt Sarah and Uncle Kyle went to a Christmas party. We all had fun making cookies, playing basketball, playing kitchen, reading books and watching Wonder Pets. Chase and I even joined in when Will started doing the Hokey Pokey.

When I woke up on Sunday, I was sad to discover Will went home. I hope he can come back to play soon. After eating breakfast, we were off to church. Chase and I had fun in our Sunday School room. Chase played with his favorite toy- the vacuum cleaner!

After church we went on our Christmas tree hunt. Mommy and daddy said I could pick out the tree this year. I looked......

....and looked

....and looked

....and looked

and finally I found it! I think mom and dad were pleasantly surprised at the tree I picked- it only has one little bare spot. After we found the tree, daddy said we could buy some 'snow' to put on the tree. As we were walking out we saw Santa and reindeer! Can you believe Santa flew all the way to Columbus to see us?! They also had carriage rides and we all hopped in for a ride with the horse. Chase especially like the ride!

All that tree searching wore me out, so we were off to naps. When we woke up daddy had the tree up in the living room- it's a very nice tree if I must say so myself! For dinner we went back to church for a birthday party- Jesus' birthday party! We sang 'Happy Birthday' and of course had cake. We got to make ornament, have a snow ball fight and Santa even stopped buy to read us a story and hand out candy canes. What a great day!

I think the weekend was too much for Chase b/c he woke up sick on Monday. Mommy stayed home with him and when daddy and I got home that night we got to decorate the tree. I had A LOT of fun hanging ornaments on tree! Chase has been having fun taking the ornaments off....

Chase passed along his illness to me and I had to stay home with daddy on Wednesday. We all seem to be doing better. Thankfully we all have a weekend off to relax.

Have a Great weekend and hopefully we'll have some concert videos up soon!

Turkey & Santa

We hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving! Chase and I enjoyed watching the Thanksgiving Day Parade- Daddy said we got Papa's parade watching genes. We saw lots of our favorite characters and we even saw Santa at the end. We had a yummy Thanksgiving meal at Grandma and Grandpa's and we had lots of fun playing with our cousin Anden. I think Chase's favorite part of the day was eating Grandma's whipped cream!

Mommy and daddy were home with us for 4 days! I kept asking if we had to go to school and they said 'No.' We had lots of fun baking, painting and playing. Chase and I even have a new favorite game- Hide and Seek. We tend to give up our location when we're the hiders, but it's still a lot of fun!

Chase and I have enjoyed seeing all the Christmas lights up around the neighborhood and mommy even finished putting ours up on Thursday. We went over to see our friend Hunter last night and he has a big Santa in a firetruck with a reindeer on top in his yard! We even have already been to the zoo to see the wildlights and Santa. We didn't get to see too many lights as the Santa line was really long, but we did get to make cookies and I even sat on Santa's lap! I told him all the things I wanted for Christmas and even passed along Chase's request of a hot dog, as Chase wasn't too sure about sitting on Santa's lap.

Tonight we get to get our elves and advent calendars out and mommy said we're going to get our tree this weekend after our Christmas concerts. Chase and I are super excited!

Have a nice week!

Turkey Day Lunch

On Monday we had Thanksgiving lunch at school. All of the mommies and daddies got to come and we sang songs for them and ate a yummy lunch. I had been practicing a lot at home and mommy and daddy said they were proud of me for actually standing up front and singing. I had a lot of fun and enjoyed eating lunch with mommy and daddy. While we were eating, mommy and daddy snuck in to peak on Chase in his room. He actually was sleeping and not causing trouble! Enjoy the videos!

3 Year Stats

I went to the doctor yesterday for my 3yr old well visit. The doctor said I had big muscles! I stepped on the scale like a big kid and weighed 35.8 pounds and am almost 39 inches tall! Mommy said no wonder all of my pants are too short- I've grown 4 1/2 inches over the last year. I was excited to get my flu shot (mist) in my nose.....I did ask for two band-aids, but I settled for a sticker. I enjoyed it and didn't want to leave to go to school :)

This weekend mommy and daddy took us to see Disney Live! Our friends Hunter and Will came too. We all had fun watching and dancing with Mickey Mouse. My favorite part of the show was Woody and Buzz Lightyear. Chase REALLY liked Tigger! We all had fun and was sad when it was over.

Have a good week everyone!

Super Heroes

Happy Halloween!

We went 'Trickin and Treating' last night and we had A LOT of fun! Chase figured out right away that we were getting candy and he was off and running! Our neighbor Hunter went with us and all of us were laughing and smiling. Towards the end we opted to ride in the wagon between houses and I had someone else carry my bucket because it was too heavy..... Grandma and Grandpa came to watch us and we all had pizza afterwards- what a great night!

Today we got to wear our costumes to school. Both Chase and I had Halloween parties in our class.

We hope everyone has a Safe and Happy Halloween!
