Well, I'd better get back to playing. Have a good week everyone.

Chunk and Elmo
Saturday night we went to Chick-Fil-A and Elmo was there! I had fun playing with Elmo, giving him high fives and I even gave him some puffs.
I was worn out on Sunday and took a three hour nap! Mommy said she kept coming in to make sure I was still breathing. Sunday night mommy took me to see daddy at the Crew game. Aunt Amy, Uncle Jack and Alex were there too. The Crew won and mommy said we weren't the jinx anymore. Mommy moved so we could sit behind the drums and flags and I had fun dancing and clapping when the Crew
scored. After the game, mommy and I were walking to daddy's office and we saw daddy up on the terrace. I looked up and smiled and waved at him. This was the first time I intentionally waved at someone. Mommy and daddy thought it was great.
I went to the doctor on Monday for my 9 month appt. I've lost a little weight and was just under 22 pounds, down to the 60%. My height and head were still in the 90s.
No shots this time, just a few pricks, which I didn't even blink an eye at. I showed off all my new tricks for the Dr, as I kept crawling to try and grab all the cool stuff she had.
I haven't been doing too well with a sippy cup, but mommy found one with a straw and I love it. I was drinking water all night last night.
Hope everyone has a good week.

Partying Chunk
I had a fun packed weekend. Mommy and daddy took Friday off and we went to the zoo. The monkeys were my favorite and I got to sit in the world's stinkiest flower.
On Saturday mommy and I went to G-G's 82nd birthday party. Daddy wasn't invited, so he made sure I wore a special shirt to the party. I had fun with my cousins Mya, Emma and Miles.
On Sunday we got in the car again and went to Cleveland. It was Great Grandpa B's birthday and my cousin Paige's birthday. I got a lot of good tips from Paige on how to eat my first cake in a few months. I also got to test out the new swing set Uncle Ryan and Papa Chicken made. I had fun swinging. I've been working on my crawling and am getting much faster. I can pull myself up now and am testing the process of walking while holding on to things. Grandpa made me a toy box, and mommy put all my toys in it. Now I can pull myself up, reach in and find the toy I'm looking for.
Hope everyone has a great week.

Chunk's 1st Fourth of July
Happy Fourth everyone! When I got up this morning, I didn't have to go to daycare. Instead, mommy and daddy took me to the Fourth of July parade. A nice fireman gave me a flag and I got to see Elmo! There were lots of exciting things and people there for me to watch. After the parade we went home and Baby Mac came over to play. We were going to go swimming, but it was too cold out and ended up raining. We had fun playing inside all afternoon. After

Chunk's Surgery
I went to a lot of doctors last week. On Monday I went to the pediatrician to have my ears re-checked. They were both infected again, so she told mommy and daddy to take me to the Ear, Nose and Throat doctor. The ENT was really nice. I held still while he looked in my ears and even opened my mouth on cue when he wanted to look in. He said my ears were pretty bad and wanted to do ear tube surgery the next day. Mommy and daddy scheduled it and then mommy had to take me to a hearing test. I did really good. When I would look towards the sound a toy played for me. When we were done, she told mommy I had mild to moderate hearing loss on almost every sound. The next morning we went really early to the surgery center. The nurse gave me some grape medicine that put me in slow motion then I went back for the procedure. It didn't take very long and mommy and daddy were able to come see me 20 minutes later. I never knew people could hear so good. On Friday I sat for 10 minutes just listening to myself clap. I think the surgery also helped my balance, as I started crawling and pulling myself up on Saturday. My ears still bother me a little and I don't like having the drops put in, but I'm sure I'll feel better in no time. My girlfriend brought me over a care package to help me feel better and I love my new toys.
