Well, I'd better get back to playing. Have a good week everyone.

Chunk and Colo
I had a lot of visitors on Saturday. Cousin Meg and cousin Jen came over to play with me and ride with (push) me in my car. I showed them how I could crawl and pull myself up. We even played some ball, when Riley wasn't stealing it. Later in the afternoon when I woke up from my nap, Papa, Uncle Ryan and Austin were there. I loved watching and following my big cousin Austin. I also had fun looking out the front door with Papa and watching all the cars drive by. After I ate dinner, we all went to the Crew game. We saw Daddy working and had a lot of fun, even though the Crew lost. I was really tired when we got home and decided to sleep in until 7:30 on Sunday morning. At church the infant nursery and the toddler nursery were combined. I had fun watching and playing with the big kids. Later on Sunday, Mommy & Daddy took me to the zoo for the Crew family picnic. I got to taste ice cream for the first time! I loved it! Mommy said I got that from her. I wasn't allowed to eat too much, but boy was it good. I can't wait for my birthday so I can eat some more. We had the whole zoo to ourselves. Daddy and I love the gorillas and a few even came right up to us. Daddy's favorite is Colo. She's the oldest gorilla there and doesn't like to interact with people much. Mommy was walking me over towards her and she came right up to us. I wasn't scared at all- it was pretty cool.

Chunk and Elmo
We were busy again this weekend. On Saturday I went to cousin Meg's house. She watched me for a little while so mommy and daddy could go to lunch. She took me for a lot of walks and we played with my car and toys. I also left her a nice stinky present! When mommy and daddy got back, cousin Meg made some ear molds, so I can get ear plugs. They are going to be Buckeye colors and I should get them soon, which means I can go swimming again!
Saturday night we went to Chick-Fil-A and Elmo was there! I had fun playing with Elmo, giving him high fives and I even gave him some puffs.
I was worn out on Sunday and took a three hour nap! Mommy said she kept coming in to make sure I was still breathing. Sunday night mommy took me to see daddy at the Crew game. Aunt Amy, Uncle Jack and Alex were there too. The Crew won and mommy said we weren't the jinx anymore. Mommy moved so we could sit behind the drums and flags and I had fun dancing and clapping when the Crew scored. After the game, mommy and I were walking to daddy's office and we saw daddy up on the terrace. I looked up and smiled and waved at him. This was the first time I intentionally waved at someone. Mommy and daddy thought it was great.
I went to the doctor on Monday for my 9 month appt. I've lost a little weight and was just under 22 pounds, down to the 60%. My height and head were still in the 90s.
No shots this time, just a few pricks, which I didn't even blink an eye at. I showed off all my new tricks for the Dr, as I kept crawling to try and grab all the cool stuff she had.
I haven't been doing too well with a sippy cup, but mommy found one with a straw and I love it. I was drinking water all night last night.
Hope everyone has a good week.

Partying Chunk
I had a fun packed weekend. Mommy and daddy took Friday off and we went to the zoo. The monkeys were my favorite and I got to sit in the world's stinkiest flower.
On Saturday mommy and I went to G-G's 82nd birthday party. Daddy wasn't invited, so he made sure I wore a special shirt to the party. I had fun with my cousins Mya, Emma and Miles.
On Sunday we got in the car again and went to Cleveland. It was Great Grandpa B's birthday and my cousin Paige's birthday. I got a lot of good tips from Paige on how to eat my first cake in a few months. I also got to test out the new swing set Uncle Ryan and Papa Chicken made. I had fun swinging.
I've been working on my crawling and am getting much faster. I can pull myself up now and am testing the process of walking while holding on to things. Grandpa made me a toy box, and mommy put all my toys in it. Now I can pull myself up, reach in and find the toy I'm looking for.
Hope everyone has a great week.

Chunk's 1st Fourth of July
Happy Fourth everyone! When I got up this morning, I didn't have to go to daycare. Instead, mommy and daddy took me to the Fourth of July parade. A nice fireman gave me a flag and I got to see Elmo! There were lots of exciting things and people there for me to watch. After the parade we went home and Baby Mac came over to play. We were going to go swimming, but it was too cold out and ended up raining. We had fun playing inside all afternoon. After Baby Mac left, daddy had to go to work. When it was about time for me to go to bed, we started hearing a lot of loud noises. Riley didn't like them too well and started to bark. Mommy took me outside and I saw all kinds of lights in the sky. Mommy said they were fireworks. Towards the end, I wanted to show my appreciation for the display, so I started clapping. After a long day I finally went to bed.

Chunk's Surgery
I went to a lot of doctors last week. On Monday I went to the pediatrician to have my ears re-checked. They were both infected again, so she told mommy and daddy to take me to the Ear, Nose and Throat doctor. The ENT was really nice. I held still while he looked in my ears and even opened my mouth on cue when he wanted to look in. He said my ears were pretty bad and wanted to do ear tube surgery the next day. Mommy and daddy scheduled it and then mommy had to take me to a hearing test. I did really good. When I would look towards the sound a toy played for me. When we were done, she told mommy I had mild to moderate hearing loss on almost every sound. The next morning we went really early to the surgery center. The nurse gave me some grape medicine that put me in slow motion then I went back for the procedure. It didn't take very long and mommy and daddy were able to come see me 20 minutes later. I never knew people could hear so good. On Friday I sat for 10 minutes just listening to myself clap. I think the surgery also helped my balance, as I started crawling and pulling myself up on Saturday. My ears still bother me a little and I don't like having the drops put in, but I'm sure I'll feel better in no time. My girlfriend brought me over a care package to help me feel better and I love my new toys.
Despite all the doctors last week, mommy was off and we managed to squeeze in some fun things. Last Sunday I went to the zoo with my cousin Mya. On Monday mommy took me to story time at the library. On Tuesday we went to the zoo again with mommy's friend and her kids. Mommy got her new car on Wednesday. After my hearing test on Thursday, we went to visit daddy at work. Later that night, Cousin Meg came by to visit. We all wished her Happy Birthday. On Saturday, Uncle Jack came over. On Sunday Cousin Meg came to show us her new car and Grandma and Grandpa stopped by on their way home. In the end I was very tired and went to bed at 6:30.
