Chunk and the Other Merry Moppets

Well, this was my first week of a place they call daycare. All I know is that I am now up when it is still dark out. This, after all those weeks I was told when it is dark I should sleep.....

I really like my teachers and I get to play, eat and sleep all day- what more could a little chunk ask for? On mommy's first day back to work I gave her the pouty lip and cried when she came home and tried to hold me. While daddy thought this was quite humorous, I decided this week I should show more love and am now excited when she comes to pick me up. I am still trying to get used to my new schedule and I think mommy is too. We were both asleep by 9pm last night. I hope they realize that I don't know the difference between the weekdays and weekends, so my bottle better be ready at 6am on Saturday morning!

My girlfriend Mckenzie is getting baptized this weekend, whatever that means. I've been told it's like a bath. Mommy and Daddy tell me I am getting baptized soon. I sure hope I at least get to wear my swimming suit in front of all those people!

Cousin Meg and Jenny are scheduled to come visit me on Saturday- I can't wait. Other than that I'll probably just hang out on my new blanket made especially for me by my Grams. It has my favorite character Tigger on it! Depending on how I feel I may work on rolling over and holding my head up while on my stomach. I hope everyone has a good weekend!

Comment Answers:

Gramps- My stubby feet won't fit into the one pair of shoes I have....

Aunt Nancy- Mommy and Daddy take me swimming at a gym that my Daddy gets to go to through work. If I'm not swimming I get to hang out with some nice ladies and watch Sesame Street while my parents work out.

Chunk of Snow

Late last night, while I was fast asleep, the skies opened up and let down some white flakey stuff. As a result, it was a slow ride to church this morning. Afterwards, I had to wait in the car while daddy cleaned the white stuff off of the windows and wipers. Mommy stayed in the car with me (boy, she's smart).

Later, mommy thought we should capture my first experience with this stuff they call "snow" by taking a picture (or two). Riley decided, reluctantly, to join us.

It was pretty cold out there. Good thing mommy bundled me up. Daddy said I reminded him of Papa - who's known to be a "freeze baby" - wearing all of those clothes.

Me Chunk (for movie lovers, a reference from Goonies)

Hello- It's me Mason Grady, otherwise known affectionately as 'Little Chunk.' After my girlfriend Mackenzie started her own website (she's so smart), I decided to do the same. Now there will be one place for my family and friends to find out what is going on in my life and see the millions of pictures mommy and daddy are always taking. Feel free to post any comments or messages you have.

Check back often, as my 'rents are always dragging me somewhere new.

Chunk Tuna in Water

Last night mommy and daddy took me to my first swimming experience. Daddy says it's never too early to begin training to be the next Ian Thorpe. He also said I should be able to float because of all my "blubber." Just as mommy thought, however, my weight made me sink.

Daddy dunked me up to my nose - which he thought was funny. Mommy gave him the 'you'd better stop' look. I worked on treading water and the back stroke (basicially just kicking my legs and flailing my arms). Next week- flip turns.

Check back soon for more updates and pictures!
